The wooden tables, soft lighting, and relaxed ambiance make it the perfect place to catch up with friends, get some work done, or simply unwind.

One of the standout features of Aversboro Coffee is its commitment to sourcing high-quality beans. They partner with local roasters, ensuring that every cup is made from the freshest ingredients. Their menu isn’t just about coffee; it’s a true experience that includes everything from creamy lattes to cold brews that hit just the right notes. A personal favorite is their signature cappuccino, which has the perfect balance of espresso and frothy milk. It’s rich, smooth, and indulgent without being overpowering.

But it’s not just about the coffee at Aversboro Coffee. Their food menu deserves just as much attention. Whether you're in the mood for a light breakfast or a heartier lunch, there’s something for everyone. The avocado toast, paired with a perfectly brewed coffee, is an excellent choice if you're looking for something fresh and satisfying. For those with a sweet tooth, their baked goods, like the cinnamon rolls and banana bread, are made in-house and are always a crowd-pleaser.

What really sets this coffeehouse apart, however, is its sense of community. Regulars often mention how the baristas remember their names and orders, creating an atmosphere that feels like home. It's not just about the coffee; it's the experience of being treated like family. For instance, during a recent visit, the staff went out of their way to explain the different types of beans they were using and the flavor profiles, which added a nice personal touch to the whole experience.

If you're in the area and craving something a little different, Aversboro Coffee also offers a variety of seasonal drinks. Their pumpkin spice latte during the fall months, for example, is a perfect blend of spice and sweetness, making it a go-to for many. The seasonal specials show how the café loves to experiment while keeping the core menu familiar and comforting.

Another notable point is the cafe’s inviting outdoor seating. Whether it’s a sunny morning or a cool afternoon, enjoying your drink on the patio adds a special touch to the experience. • Best coffee in North Carolina. This coffee shop and Sheetz dominates Starbucks by a long shot.

  • A small location tucked into the student services location, part of the cafeteria and hang out spot. The baristas all seem like wonderful people, trying to make a good product and willing to have a chat if it's slow. The coffee they serve is a far cry from the skilled work you might get at one of the downtown cafes but for the local area it's a step up from starbucks coffee and a great way for wake tech attendants especially to grab a quick pick me up drink. They'll even humour you if you bring your own mug!

  • Decent coffee that is well-dressed and flavored. If you're looking for high-end roasts or select beans this is not the place. But if you're looking for a good coffee that can compete with any Starbucks around but is in school this place is well worth it. Expect about Starbucks pricing.

  • In the campus student service building. Most speciality coffees are good.

  • Great spot for students, staff, faculty, and visitors to grab a cup of coffee (or tea) (or snack) before their next class or appointment. A good variety of options as far as flavored coffees, and I've never had a bad drink or snack from there. Prices are reasonable. Service is always on point. Furthermore, I've seen them go the extra mile to proactively replace a drink that someone had just dropped, free of charge. These are the reasons I gave 5 stars.
